We've all heard that phrase, "Love makes the world go around" (well, also, a lot of things can!) but essentially the idea is that love is a powerful emotion and force that can create big ripples and major change - just look at relationships and human nature in general and the cause and effects each day .
On an individual level, the heart is where the soul resides. If we are feeling disconnected from life and our purpose then this is most likely an area we need to work on and the more connected to our heart, body, and emotions, the better our intuition is.
Ultimately, love is a powerful force that can be hugely healing and beneficial for our personal growth.
For some, hurt and trauma can cause us to feel disconnected from the heart and heart area.
Some simple ways to explore the intelligence here is to first ask yourself: "Do I feel connected to my heart? How does this area feel?
If you already have an open heart area then you can ask: "Am I living aligned with my truth? What feels true in this moment? What feel inauthentic and needs to fall away? What would I love right now?"
And if you were to only ask one question, the most powerful question of all to ask is:
"What would I really love?"
Then take a few moments here. Maybe even write down what comes then highlight what stands out because those are your next steps on your journey.
Here are also 5 practical ways you can begin to soften your heart space, and feel more connected to your heart:
1.Gratitude - Through cultivating a daily practice of expressing gratitude we can begin to lift our energetic vibration. Start your day by listing three things you feel grateful for right now.
2. Love - Who are the people and what are the things in your life right now that you love? Spend a few moments reflecting on them and allow yourself to feel the feelings building up in your body and feel the energy here.
3. Generosity - Acts of kindness and generosity can help change your energy and vibration. Take time to invite more opportunities
4. Forgiveness & Compassion - Are there circumstances or people in your life who you may need to forgive or cultivate compassion for in order to let go and heal? Setting these emotions free can help create the space in your own energy to heal and grow.
5. Meditation - Meditation is helpful to lift our vibration. Whether following a guided meditation or simply setting the timer for 10-15 minutes is a great way to notice our current emotional state and bring awareness to the present moment and of our mind and body.
As we work on our heart space, we will begin to heal any physical and emotional discomfort whilst also lifting our energetic vibration - helping to deepen our connection to our soul and inner wisdom and add more clarity and fulfillment to our daily activities.
As a result things may change in our current circumstances or perspectives but ultimately this will be a path of truth and light and for our highest good.
