Week 0: Pre-session - 29/4/25

 

Pre-session to set out the structure for the weeks ahead and meet the group

 

Week 1: Recovering a Sense of Safety - 06/05/25

 

  • Recognizing and healing past creative wounds,

  • Identifying negative beliefs about creativity,

  • Practicing self-compassion and affirmations.

 

Week 2: Recovering a Sense of Identity - 13/05/25

 

  • Exploring personal creative desires and forgotten dreams,

  • Let go of external validation and societal expectations

  • Strengthening self-worth and confidence.

 

Week 3: Recovering a Sense of Power - 20/05/25

 

  • Addressing anger and resistance,

  • Setting boundaries to protect creative energy

  • Letting go of limiting beliefs and old patterns.

 

Week 4: Recovering a Sense of Integrity - 27/05/25

 

  • Examining where life feels out of alignment,

  • Learning to listen to and trust intuition,

  • Detoxing from distractions and negativity (includes a recommended "reading deprivation" week).

 

Week 5: Recovering a Sense of Possibility - 03/06/25

 

  • Expanding creative dreams and removing self-imposed limits,

  • Exploring abundance and shifting from scarcity thinking

  • Trusting that creativity is sustainable.

 

Week 6: Recovering a Sense of Abundance - 10/06/25

 

  • Releasing guilt around money and creative success,

  • Understanding the connection between creativity and prosperity

  • Exploring gratitude and generosity.

 

Week 7: Recovering a Sense of Connection - 17/06/25

 

  • Deepening trust in creative intuition and divine inspiration,

  • Practice active listening to one's creative voice

  • Strengthening a sense of personal and spiritual connection.

 

Week 8: Recovering a Sense of Strength - 24/06/25

 

  • Acknowledging past creative losses and moving forward,

  • Practice resilience and perseverance in the face of obstacles

  • Strengthening self-trust and autonomy.

 

Week 9: Recovering a Sense of Compassion - 1/07/25

 

  • Releasing perfectionism and self-criticism,

  • Accepting creative cycles and allowing rest,

  • Learning to treat oneself with kindness.

 

Week 10: Recovering a Sense of Self-Protection - 8/07/25

 

  • Learning to say no to energy drains and distractions,

  • Protecting creative work from negativity and fear,

  • Prioritizing personal and artistic growth.

 

Week 11: Recovering a Sense of Autonomy - 15/07/25

 

  • Embracing creative independence and personal authority,

  • Let go of external approval and reclaiming one's artistic voice

  • Recognizing that creativity is an ongoing process, not a destination.

 

Week 12: Recovering a Sense of Faith - 22/07/25

  • Trusting in the creative process and divine timing,

  • Releasing attachment to outcomes

  • Embracing creativity as a lifelong practice.

Core practices ongoing throughout the course:

Morning Pages: Writing three pages of stream-of-consciousness journaling each morning to clear the mind and process emotions.

​

Artist Dates: A weekly solo adventure to nurture inspiration and playfulness.

​

Walking & Mindfulness: Encouraging movement and presence to help process creative ideas.

How it works

Weekly calls will take place on Tuesday evenings on Zoom. Tuesday eve call on Zoom around 7pm (1hr/1.5 dependent on group size) with new tasks sent out via email for the week each Wednesday - (open to flexibility on the exact time of the calls poll with the group on best times)

​

There will be two attendance options available:

 

All 13 sessions = £143 + card fee with opportunity for a bonus follow-up at the end a month after.

 

Or

 

£11 + card fee drop-in for the calls and follow along on the email material.

About your facilitator

I am a Holistic Therapist, Healer and Coach accredited with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Craniosacral Association (CSTA) and British Association of Healers (BAHA)

 

My journey with The Artist’s Way began back in 2017 with the Morning Pages to then completing the course numerous times over the years, I have also worked through it as a group. 

 

Creativity has been an interesting journey for me, I always enjoyed art and writing from a young age but the idea of expressing that creativity has not always come easily to me and despite having various creative careers,  I have gone through many long periods of feeling 'creatively blocked'. 

 

Every time I have committed to the morning pages practice and tasks from the artist way I am impressed with the unfolding of things. There is no doubt that following the course however you feel guided always brings up insights, shift and changes within and witnessed in outer life.

 

It is my dream to now share this journey with others and witness the benefits for them also.
